Is AUDEX For Artists free?
Yes. Artist Pages, Connections and Your Music. Live and free. You do not need a subscription to create an account or publish your page. Any paid tools introduced later will have their pricing and terms explained before you choose to use them.
Who can create an artist account?
Artists, bands and musicians who are at least 13 and entitled to represent the artist can create an account. If you are under 18, involve a parent or trusted adult before sharing private contact details, arranging meetings, accepting paid work or agreeing contracts. Read the Artist Terms and Connections rules before taking part.
Artist Pages
What can I put on my Artist Page?
You can add your artist name, bio, music links, social links and YouTube videos. Add a Spotify track or album as a music card, then choose how it is displayed. Your published page has its own shareable URL for your social bios.
How much can I customise my page?
Choose from different fonts, colours, page styles and layouts. Music cards can use artwork, a platform icon or no icon. You can change your draft without changing the live page until you publish again.
Can I upload a profile photo or music?
There are no photo or audio uploads in this release. You can use initials, no profile image or an available Spotify artist photo. Supported Spotify links can display release artwork. Your Music is now open: find your artist on Spotify and select releases to add to AUDEX ahead of Underground’s launch. You do not need to upload audio files.
Can I keep my page private?
Your draft is private until you publish. Once published, anyone with the link can view your Artist Page, and search engines may index it. You can unpublish from the editor. Information already copied or shared elsewhere cannot be recalled by unpublishing.
Connections
What is AUDEX Connections?
Connections helps musicians find collaborators, band members and creative opportunities. You can browse musicians and posts, search by what you need and filter for remote or local projects. A published Connections profile is separate from your Artist Page.
What is the difference between Looking for and Available?
Looking for means you need someone for a project, such as a drummer for a recording. Available means you are offering your own skills or time. Browse All to see both, or switch the toggle to focus your search.
How do private introductions work?
Send a short introduction to an opportunity. The recipient decides whether to accept or decline. Chosen contact details are shared through the acceptance flow, rather than being included in public posts. Further conversation takes place through the contact channel you choose. Connections does not currently have unrestricted in-app chat.
Do I have to share my location?
No. You can participate remotely. If you choose local discovery, you provide an area such as a town and country. Do not publish your home or school address. You choose the contact information you are comfortable sharing.
Your account
How do sign-in and security codes work?
Sign in with your email and password. You must verify your email, and a new or expired device needs a six-digit emailed security code. You can remember a trusted device for up to 30 days and revoke it in Settings. Never share your password or security codes.
Does creating an account subscribe me to AUDEX news?
No. AUDEX news is optional and separate from account security and Connections emails. Use the optional news checkbox at sign-in or the form in Settings, then confirm or manage your choices through the email you receive. Existing news-list entries are reused.
How do I get help or report something?
Signed-in artists can contact Support or use the feedback button. Public Artist Pages include a report link, and Connections has reporting and blocking controls. Reports go to AUDEX administration. You can also use the contact form on the main AUDEX website.
How do I delete my artist account?
Open the danger zone in Settings. Enter your current password and type DELETE to request an emailed confirmation link. Open that link in your signed-in browser and confirm again to permanently remove your artist account and page. Limited report and moderation records may be retained. Your separate AUDEX news subscription has its own unsubscribe controls.
