Who runs the service
AUDEX For Artists is operated by Jacob Bradley, trading as AUDEX and Jacob Bradley Web Development. Business address: Unit 8 Studios, 8 Whessoe Road, Darlington, DL3 0QP, United Kingdom. Contact: contact AUDEX.
The first release
Artist accounts, Artist Pages and Connections are available without a subscription. Later features, including music submissions, game participation and the artist workspace, are not included or available until separately announced. No subscription or payment is taken by this release.
Your account
You must be at least 13 and entitled to act for the artist you represent. We do not verify ages or identities. If you are under 18, ask a parent or trusted adult to help you understand the service and involve them before sharing private contact details, arranging meetings, taking paid work or agreeing contracts. Under-13s must not create accounts. Give accurate information, use a strong unique password and keep access to your email secure. Do not share security codes or let another person use your account. Tell support if your account may be compromised.
Your page and links
You are responsible for the text and links you publish. Only share content that you have the right to use. Do not impersonate an artist, mislead visitors or imply endorsements. This release accepts links and supported third-party music information, not image or audio uploads. You keep your rights in the content you create. You give AUDEX permission to store, format and display that content as needed to provide your page; this is not a general licence to use your music in games or other products.
Acceptable use
Do not publish unlawful, abusive, hateful, sexually explicit, exploitative or fraudulent content, malware, phishing links or infringements of privacy or intellectual property. Do not use the service to harass people, collect sensitive information deceptively, send spam or bypass security limits. We may restrict links or content that create safety or security risks.
Third-party platforms
Spotify, YouTube and other linked services have their own terms and privacy practices. Artwork and information supplied by those services must keep required attribution and must not be presented as your own creation. Availability, playback and destination websites are outside our control. Links and previews are not a promise of endorsement or continued availability.
Publishing and availability
Your draft is private until you publish it. Published pages can be seen and shared by others and may be indexed by search engines. Unpublishing removes access on AUDEX but cannot remove copies already made elsewhere. Artist Pages and available features may change as we develop the service. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or particular promotional results. Keep your own copies of important information.
Reporting and enforcement
Every public page includes a reporting link. We review reports and may remove content, unpublish pages, suspend access or ban accounts where reasonably necessary. A report alone does not establish a breach. Serious or repeated misuse may affect eligibility for other AUDEX services, subject to their terms and enforcement arrangements. We may act urgently where safety or legal obligations require it. You can contact support to request a review of an enforcement decision.
Ending your use
You may unpublish your page and stop using the service at any time. Delete your account from the danger zone in Settings. Your password and an emailed confirmation link are required. Contact support if you cannot access your account. We may retain limited information where needed for legal obligations, security or resolving disputes, as explained in the privacy notice.
Our responsibilities
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits rights you have under applicable law. We will exercise reasonable care in providing the service. You must not rely on the service as your only record of important work.
Changes and questions
We may update these terms as the service develops. Material changes will be brought to account holders’ attention before they take effect where appropriate. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, without removing mandatory protections or court rights that apply to you.
Connections
Connections is governed by the Connections rules, accepted separately when you create a discoverable musician profile.
